Emmanuela Pintus is a fitness instructor from Windsor, ON, with 15 years of experience teaching yoga. Recently, she expanded her offerings to include barre and fitness classes. Her journey in fitness began right after high school when she developed a passion for women’s bodybuilding. Emmanuela taught herself to train at the local YMCA and spent five years competing in bodybuilding before transitioning to the Figure division, which aligned more with her personal goals.
She has competed internationally and at Canadian Nationals multiple times, consistently placing well. Her most recent competition was in June 2019, where she earned second place in both Open Figure and Masters Figure.
Teaching yoga and fitness has helped Emmanuela maintain both her physical and mental health. She emphasizes how yoga complements bodybuilding by reducing stress and keeping her grounded, especially during the intensity of competition prep. Emmanuela values the sense of community that fitness fosters and has learned a great deal about how to properly fuel her body, helping her maintain a strong focus on overall well-being.

Paulina’s foundation of group fitness started with dance at a young age. After years of training and competition, she moved to Toronto to focus on dance as part of her post-secondary education. After graduating university, Paulina danced professionally for companies such as Pro Arte Danza and Helix Dance Project. She then shifted her focus to group fitness, specifically barre and Pilates.
While in Toronto, Paulina worked at fitness studios such as Barreworks, Equinox, Sweat & Tonic, and along-side Nikki Bergen, founder and creator of The Belle Method. At Barreworks, she mentored instructors as part of the barre certification process. She also travelled throughout the United States as an East Coast Presenter to teach and mentor instructors the Equinox barre and Pilates programs. Her passion is to help people reach their fitness goals, elevating and supporting other instructors, and being a part of a positive, healthy community. After moving to Windsor with her family in 2020, she opened Barrehouse -- Windsor's first barre-based boutique studio offering low-impact, healthy and effective workouts that enhance the quality of life.

Gloria loves teaching Power Vinyasa Flow, Astanga-style classes but above all loves being creative with her practice. She places importance not only on balancing poses, but especially on exploring the breath and mind/body connection. As an instructor she feels it is important to provide her clients the skills available through yoga that can be used on and off the mat. Glo is a big proponent of offering modification and reading the room to ensure everyone is getting a proper session.
Gloria believes that music and the flow of the class encourage each other and go hand-in-hand. Matching the music with the movement brings out the best in her practice and helps her clients feel a deeper connection and be present and aware. Always up for a challenge, Gloria uses her mother (who fought arthritis but kept moving and lived to 91) as inspiration when things get difficult. She enjoys sweating in any way – from sitting on a beach in the hot sun to powering through a hard workout.

Here we can provide information on Chant events (locally) and anywhere our Bhakti brothers and sisters are coming together to experience the healing power of sound and Divine energy. Chanting is experienced in a call and response fashion, and no previous or musical experience is necessary. Through repetition of Sanskrit Mantras, the mind can reach a state of quiet consciousness, transforming negative emotions into kindness, compassion, optimism, contentment and love.
